「三陸、大船渡にワイン文化を根付かせる。100年以上続く新しい産業を興し、子どもたちに夢を与えたい」。海の近くに広がるワイナリーに多くの観光客や外国人が訪れ、活気に満ちる光景を思い描いて、2013年に東京から生まれ育った大船渡へUターンして事業を開始されました。
現在は、岩手県内で最も古いといわれる米崎りんごの畑を継承し、樹齢50年以上の木によってできるリンゴジュースの製造販売などをしながら、移住後に新たに植えた約700本の葡萄の木を育てながら、ワイナリーの建設準備も進められています。
Takehiro Oikawa moved back from Tokyo to his hometown Ofunato in 2013 to start Three Peaks, with the hopes of establishing a wine culture in the Sanriku region and providing dreams to the children with the new industry. He uses Yonesaki apples, known to be the oldest apples in Iwate prefecture, and produces apple juice from these trees that are over 50 years old. In addition, he is preparing a winery with the 700 grapevines he has planted since moving into the region.
